The hCG Apple Day

You may have seen references to the hcg apple day but not know exactly what it is. The apple day is a great strategy to deal with any weight loss plateaus. A plateau refers to 4 or more days without weight loss despite strict adherence to the program.

How does the apple day work?

The apple day helps the body to eliminate any retention of water. This is followed by a satisfying weight loss the following day. The water is not regained when you resume the normal 500 calorie diet the day after the apple day – and on the following days you should continue to lose weight.

How to do it

1. Continue taking your diet drops
2. Eat 6 apples throughout the day. The apples can be eaten at any time you feel hungry throughout the 24 hour period.
3. Drink enough water to stay hydrated. Do not eat or drink anything else.
4. The following day, resume your 500 calorie eating plan.

Keep in mind that even if you haven’t lost weight on a particular day you may have lost centimetres. So keep up your weekly measurements and track your progress in this way as well. It’s certainly motivating to see centimetres dropping even if your weight loss stalls.
